4 Quick Thoughts

1. Here's why I love government. The road crews of Muncie have decided to wait until move in day for all the BSU students before deciding to close one of the 2 main east/west roads through campus and do a little road work.

2. Go here. Trust me

3. I don't enjoy presidential politics. Seems like one of those "yo mama" contests people used to have when I was in high school, minus the wittiness.

4. A kid with challneges wants to go to kindergarten in the morning and afternoon sessions b/c he has memory troubles and the repitition will help. The school district would rather spend up to $100,000.00 on legal and other fees rather than let the kid happen. Awesome. I heard a news report where someone from the school district actually said:

"Hamilton Southeastern provides a free and appropriate education to any of its students with special needs according to state and federal guidelines," read a statement from Marianna Richards, director of school and community relations. "This is an instance where the parents and school district disagree about what is appropriate."

Appropriate, not exceptional, not outstanding. In another report, the word adequate was used.

I thought you were kidding about number 2, but now I see it wasn't a Canadian delusion. I have to say I signed up. My name is in the registry right behind yours.
